Invitation to the national EMN seminar 13th of October 2015 in Helsinki
The topic of the seminar is based on the recent EMN-studies on labour migration ("Attracting highly-qualified third-country nationals", "Admitting third-country nationals for business purposes" and "Determining labour shortages and the need for labour migration") as well as the European Agenda on Migration and the Finnish government programme, which puts emphasis on boosting employment and competitiveness.
The key note address will be given by Mr. Matt Hoskin (National Manager Skills & Investments, Immigration New Zealand), who is responsible for the attraction of foreign investment and highly-qualified persons to New Zealand. The seminar also includes interventions by the EU Commission, the Minister of the Interior Mr. Petteri Orpo, Member of Parliament Mr. Juhana Vartiainen and EMN colleagues from Spain and Estonia.
